Community Involvement
The team at Pets Best is comprised of pet owners and pet lovers. Many of us come from the veterinary trade, and most of us have participated in animal rescue. When we’re not hard at work in our pet-friendly office, we like to spend some free time helping worthy animal charities. Charities We Support
Pets Best supports the Idaho Humane Society throughout the year. While we support them by raising money to ensure they can care for needy pets, we also participate in See Spot Walk, a 1-mile walk, along with a 5k Fun Run, plus vendors, contests, demonstrations, food and more!
This annual event raises money for Nampa’s dog parks! We’re thrilled to be sponsoring such a fun event. A walk around the park is then followed by the opportunity for the dogs to splash around in the swimming pool at Lakeview Water Park. Enjoy contests, raffles, a canine cake walk and pet-friendly vendor booths.
Pet Peace of Mind, in collaboration with St. Luke’s helps provide hospice and palliative care patients care for their pets. Pets Best supports them by donating materials to St. Luke’s that they can use in new pet packets to pet owners.
The mission of Dogs on Deployment is to give military members peace of mind concerning their pets during their service commitments by providing them with the ability to find people and resources able to help them.
P.L.A.Y. makes quality dog beds with pets, people, and the planet in mind. Pets Best supports them through their Warm Bellies Initiative that helps shelter pets, one bed at a time.

Since 2010, Pets Best has been recognizing veterinarians for the outstanding work they do in our communities through our My Vet's The Best contest.
